Raven in winkle pickers
The Raven is the most ominous member of the crow family, often used by artists to instil a dark foreboding into their work. Having played with the idea of birds in shoes, the marriage of a raven and winkle pickers proved very successful, winning the People’s prize at the Leamington open exhibition.
